Andy is the content and editorial director for Unlock Net Zero - a knowledge portal and events programme for the UK housing, property and built environment sectors and the supply chain that supports them focusing on the practical reality of the net zero transition.

He is a communications professional with 25 years’ experience working across the financial services, energy, and climate change sectors. He has a decade of experience in climate change communications including time as the former head of communications for a government and industry funded climate change research centre.

Claire Flowers boasts over 20 years of invaluable experience in the housing sector. Specialising in creating effective partnerships, Claire helps support clients to establish, execute and achieve results through the setup of successful collaborations. Claire's expertise spans both public and private sectors, having worked closely with Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and the GLA.

One of Claire’s notable achievements is the success of the ‘Cambridge Investment Partnership’, an equal partnership between Cambridge City Council and Hill Investment Partnerships. Under Claire’s leadership, this partnership successfully delivered over 1000 new homes in less than five years and resulted the team securing “Development Team of the Year” award at the Inside Housing Awards in 2021. With her tailored approach and proven track record, Claire is well-equipped to drive successful partnerships.

Tracey brings a wealth of property experience in the residential sector having previously held senior positions at JLL, The Howard De Walden Estate, Grainger plc and Cortland Europe. Tracey is a Chartered Surveyor, residential property expert, and former fund manager who has excellent entrepreneurial, strategic and tactical skills honed across both the private and public sectors. She is Senior Director of Operations at CompassRock International where Tracey is responsible for ensuring a strong operating platform across the portfolio.

Amanda began her real estate career in 2003 at the buying agency Garrington, which was established and led at the time by renowned property expert and television presenter Phil Spencer.

She now manages Move iQ, a consumer advice platform she co-founded with Phil and two other esteemed figures in the residential property industry. They share a commitment to ensuring that everyone can obtain and benefit from unbiased, expert property advice, empowering them to make informed decisions confidently. In 2023, Move iQ introduced a new series on its YouTube channel and podcast, focusing on educating consumers about the build-to-rent sector.

Félicie is an experienced architect with both French and British qualifications. She specialises in residential-led urban regeneration and has been instrumental in the design of many of Assael’s key projects since joining in 2000.

Alongside being one of our Build to Rent experts, Félicie has been leading on several research initiatives including a Social Value Toolkit in conjunction with the RIBA, ‘later living’ design, and the development of Assael’s urban design and landscape division. Félicie is also a member of the Croydon Design Review Panel, a Design Council Associate, an elected member on the RIBA council, and on the ARL co-living committee.

Alexandra is an internationally recognised expert on Build to Rent, placemaking and sustainable urban development. She has 19 years’ strategic real estate experience to public and private sector clients in the UK, US, Europe and Australia. Alex is chair of the BPF working group on residential ESG, former vice-chair of the ULI UK Residential Council, serves on BPF’s Build to Rent and Sustainability Committees and AREF’s ESG / Impact Investing committee.

Olaide is a strategic thinker and problem-solver with a 15-year record of successful delivery in public and private sector organisations. With a degree in Sociology, Olaide is fascinated by how people engage with one another, with physical spaces and society in general; and this curiosity drives her.

Olaide leads on external relationships, establishing and nurturing partnerships with key local business, investor and stakeholder contacts as well as growing the company’s pipeline in new and existing locations across the country.

An experienced public speaker, Olaide is regularly asked to speak and participate in debates on a range of topics including public/private partnership, social impact, arts and culture, broadening engagement and future trends.

In 2022, Olaide was recognised by Estates Gazette as one of the 50 most influential people in the industry.

In 2023, Olaide was recognised as a Woman of Influence by the Planner Magazine.

James is a recognised advocate for the purpose-built rental homes (incl. Build to Rent (BTR) and Single-Family Rent (SFR)) and the wider residential sector, with over 25 years’ varied delivery experience as a Project Manager and Advisor. He aims to help address the UK’s housing crisis through policy and practice, recognising that a full tenure spectrum is key to resolving this challenge. Through successive roles at Deloitte, Greystar and GAA, alongside sector roles including at BPF and the ARL, he has a track record of making positive differences to project outcomes.

James is a tireless campaigner for a much-needed cultural change around renting, including better appreciation of the benefits of purpose-built rental housing, Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), and intermediate affordable homes. He was included in EG's 'BTR's 50 Most Influential’ list.

Theo Plowman is Assistant Director of Residential Property at the British Property Federation, a membership organisation that is the voice of the property sector in the UK. Theo’s work focuses on Build to Rent, Residential Management, Residential ESG policy areas, as well as on Student Accommodation and Healthcare policy.

He has previous experience in built environment policy from roles at the NFU and the Landscape Institute, as well as politics, having spent time working in the USA and the Texas legislature.

Stephanie started her property career in the late 1990s in the US multifamily market on behalf of high-profile institutional clients before moving to the UK as the Build to Rent market was taking off eleven years ago, providing consultancy in the sales and marketing team for global prop-tech supplier, Yardi.

Stephanie made the move back into her long-time passion of living sector operations and asset management, launching the UK-based Atlas Residential portfolio before joining Invesco Real Estate in 2019, where her pan-European role as Director of Residential Asset Management and Operations spanned the UK and Europe with over 30 assets across seven countries.

Stephanie is currently engaged in specialist investment, operations, and asset management advisory for key clients within the living sector at Hubbl. She is also a founding member of the Research and Policy Committee in the Association for Rental Living (formerly the UKAA), and advocates for education and mentoring in the industry as part of the joint TPI/ARL Education Working Group. Stephanie has also recently been appointed as Chair for the Committee for equity, diversity and inclusion in The ARL.
